Glory Days Gathering

5:00 – 11:00 pm Friday, November 23

On April 16, 2007, 32 students and faculty were killed at Virginia Tech by a student with two legally purchased guns.

VTV Family Outreach Foundation is working to prevent more mass shootings by trying to ensure all legally prohibited names are entered into the background check system.

10% of all funds spent will be donated to the VTV Family Outreach Foundation to support its work to prevent mass shootings.

In addition, there will be giveaways and $32 raffle tickets will be sold to win a gift certificate to buy a $2995 electric bike from Pedego Electric Bikes in Old Town.

Every raffle ticket buyer automatically gets a free one hour electric bike ride and the first 100 are invited to attend a special professional play reading at Metro Stage on Monday, December 10, featuring the playwright, Jason Odell Williams and former Congressman Jim Moran.

Glory Days invites everyone to its Alexandria Commons location from 5 pm on to watch the annual UVA vs. VT football game or just to have fun.
