Handbell Concert

The VTV Family Outreach Foundation has commissioned nationally-recognized musician KathleenWissinger to compose a handbell piece - in commemoration of the 32 persons killed and 25 wounded at Virginia Tech in April 2007 - and in celebration of ongoing efforts for nonviolence and peace.

Ms. Wissinger’s composition will be performed by the Timberline Handbell Ensemble, which strives to broaden appreciation of the handbell art by providing concerts and education in the Denver area.  The performance of Ms. Wissinger’s composition by the Timberline Handbell Ensemble will be recorded and distributed to all members of the VTV family.
